Long (but good) Day

My day started at six this morning which is not all that early, but it was the beginning of a long day. After breakfast and packing, I left Abilene and headed to Breckenridge for a job interview that started at 8:30. The interview went very well, in my opinion, and did not end until noon. I would not have thought that a three and half hour interview would wear me out that much, it did. The two and half hour drive home just about killed me as well. After making all the phone calls to all the important people about the interview I started unpacking. Checking my e-mail also took a good while to complete. About 5 I took a short 15-20 minute nap. When the wife got home she reminded me that there was a consignment sale for baby stuff tonight at the Mesquite Rodeo Convention Center. So after dinner and a few minutes of rest we headed off to that with some friends from church. I have never seen so many pregnant women in one place in my life. The line to check out was also one of the longest I have ever stood in. We did get some good things, which I am sure you will all see pictures of on my wife’s blog here soon. We finished up there about nine and I am ready for bed. Good night.
