China Cabinet

Well, it has been hard not to tell anyone, but I found Heather a China Cabinet on e-bay. And yes, we got it !!!!!!!!!!! Heather is very happy about her newest gift, and I am happy that she is happy. Now for some details about the Cabinet.

It's a Broyhill, but, right now, that's about all I know. It's 15-16 years old. It has two glass shelves and two lights in the top piece. It has 4 drawers and two doors on the bottom piece.

And the best part...it was $186.49!! And no Mom (Lana) you can't have it!!

Getting Closer

Well, we are getting closer to having our house ready for sale. We went today and bought all the paint supplies that we need. We also reserved a storage unit so we can put some of our stuff in storage while we are selling our house. We even purchased a pad lock for our storage unit. Heather has done a great job of packing already and we will continue to pack much of the house the next month and a half. Hopefully we can sell our house quickly, but then we will need a place to live so hopefully we will know where we will be living soon.

Snow Day Part II

I am sure that most of you are wondering "what would I do if I had a day off in the middle of the week?". Would you work on your graduate class homework? Or work on your internship work? Or would you send six hours playing Halo at a friends house? What to guess what I did :) Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday as much as I did.

Snow Day

Yes it is that day folks, a wonderful day called Snow Day. Even though I will enjoy this day off from work, in the back of my head I can't help but feel a little down because I know we will have to make up today in April. I don't know about you, but I would rather have a day of in April than today. Oh, well I guess I just need to sit back, I mean crawl back into bed and enjoy my day.

Dinner

It is always nice to have friends over for a good dinner and games. Last night Heather and I hosted a dinner for some new friends of ours Denise and Candice (spelling??). It was a lot of fun. I cooked on the grill, and Heather made some wonderful side dishes and a really good dessert. The dessert was some apple tart thing that was really good. Yes, I went of my diet to have it, but I was really good the rest of the day. We played some games afterwards that were fun as well. All in all it was a really good night; I hope to have more like it.

Now Heather and I are enjoying the cold weather. We have a nice fire going and are taking the day to relax, which I kind of did yesterday :). Watching T.V. and eating leftovers is not a bad way to send a weekend.

These are two paintings that Heather and I bought today at a starving artist sale. The one of Venice is an 8 x 10 and the other one is larger about 16 x 20. Of course getting these lovely paintings at a starving artist sale is cool because they are cheap. We were able to purchase both paintings with frames for around a hundred dollars. Hope you enjoy them, I know we will.
