No one important just random thoughts about my life and the world around me.

So, I was not feeling too good today, my stomach was upset. After lunch to took some medicine and took a good nap. Got up feeling better, and Emily wanted to go for a walk. I told her that we would go after dinner. Now I forgot about this statement about 2 seconds after I said it. I am amazed how much a 2 year old can remember. So, after dinner (I did not eat) Emily ran to her room wanting to get her shoes so we could go on our walk. I guess she is just doing her part to help me lose weight.
Busy day today, started off with ACU homecoming parade. Emily really enjoyed the parade. Think she is ready for the next one already. This afternoon we went to ACU’s football game. Pretty good game and ACU won 31-28. After the game we went out to eat, came home around 7.
On the way home the other day I got stuck behind a woman that I believe drove tanks in World War II. She could not decide what lane she wanted to be in and was driving about 15 miles under the speed limit. I wanted to pass her so bad, but was afraid she would run into me if I tried.
Took Emily to play putt putt for the first time tonight, and it was quite interesting. It did not take her long to get into playing, but you get one hit and then she was off with your ball and would put it in the cup. The last few holes Emily would put the ball right by the hole and hit it in.
While walking around ACU, with Emily, tonight I noticed a few things. One of the most retard birds I have ever seen in an epic death match with a leaf. The bird was flying into a wall, jumping off the wall on to the leaf. As I passed by the leaf was winning. Next I came upon a lady walking her two dogs. Emily and I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the dogs taking a huge # 2. Emily happily pointed this out. Then the lady standing about 10 feet from a dog #2 clean up station left the mound without cleaning it up. Emily also pointed this out. Next I noticed that there were several people walking and running. Most of the people walking were smiling, and all the people running looked miserable. Think I will stick with walking.
